The Asplenium antiquum 'Osaka,' is a really striking plant! The fronds of this fern grow in a tight, circular pattern, which along with its frilly, ruffled leaves create a unique appearance. In its natural habitat, it would grow in the crevices of trees, hence its common name Japanese Bird's Nest Fern! This is an easygoing plant, so if you're after something a bit different and easy to care for, then this is the perfect plant for you!

  • The Japanese Bird's Nest Ferns are fuss-free and very low maintenance! They can be grown in a variety of conditions, including fairly low light and humid environments. Just avoid deep shade and keep out of direct sun when it's at its strongest.

Always allow at least the top 25% of soil to dry out between waterings.

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.

It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
