The gorgeous Hoya kerrii is the perfect plant for saying "I love you" with its unmistakable heart-shaped leaf! This semi-succulent is actually a single, rooted leaf which is taken as a cutting from its original plant form as a vining plant. Don't expect much to happen though, this plant will almost certainly remain as a single leaf for the rest of its life!

  • Position your Hoya somewhere nice and bright. It can tolerate full sun but can fade with too much intense sunlight.

As they originate from tropical climates, they do appreciate high humidity, so growing them in a bathroom or kitchen would be perfect (but not essential!).

It's always best to underwater these plants as they are drought tolerant and store water in their semi-succulent leaves! Water more frequently in the warmer months, and always allow at least the top 50% of soil to dry out in between waterings.

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.

Remember, it's always best to adjust your watering routine based on the specific conditions of your environment, such as humidity levels and temperature.
