  • Boston Ferns are fairly low maintenance and can be grown in a variety of conditions. They prefer somewhere with bright, indirect light but are also happy in light shade. As ferns, they appreciate humid environments so are perfect for bathrooms or kitchens.

     

    Keep the soil fairly moist, but never soggy, allowing the top 30% layer of soil to dry out between waterings. It may also be easier to water from below due to the dense foliage, so place your fern in its plastic nursery pot in a bowl of water for half an hour and allow it to soak up what it needs.

     

    It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
