We love the Sedum rubrotinctum, which is unsurprisingly also known as the Jelly Bean Plant! This sweet little succulent features reddish pink and green succulent leaves that resemble colourful jelly beans. This plant looks lovely on its own, displayed in a small pot or planter, or combined with other succulents in a beautiful arrangement.

Its low-maintenance nature, adorable appearance and inexpensive price tag make it a must-have!

  • The Jelly Bean Plant is easy to care for and requires minimal maintenance. It thrives in bright light so place it near a window where it can receive direct light for a few hours each day.

As it is a succulent it prefers well-draining, gritty soil. When it comes to watering, it's important to allow the soil to dry out almost entirely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's better to underwater than to overwater.

When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer to prevent waterlogged roots.

It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
