The kit contains Venus Flytrap and Trumpet Pitcher plant seeds which are carnivorous plants naturally growing in nutrient-free soils, which is why they need to extract nutrients from insect prey! Native to North America, they grow naturally in wetlands and bogs. They like full sun, a south-facing window, but benefit from colder periods during dormancy in winter, so move plants somewhere cooler.
