Selenicereus ( formerly Hylocereus) undatus, also known as the Dragon Fruit Cactus is an epiphytic, climbing, tropical cactus. The plant produces numerous stems, which without being provided with support, will naturally trail down. Its fleshy, segmented stems are covered in small spikes, which are soft to the touch, so there's no need to worry about getting pricked! As the plant matures, it has the potential to produce beautiful, showy flowers which can be as big as 30cm! It can also produce the delicious and exotic fruit known as Dragon Fruit!

Position Hylocereus undatus somewhere nice and bright, where it can receive at least two hours of direct sunlight being ideal.
It's always best to underwater these plants as they are drought tolerant and store water in their fleshy leaves! Water more frequently in the warmer months, and always allow the soil to dry almost fully between waterings.
When watering, thoroughly soak the soil until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Discard any excess water in the saucer or decorative pot to prevent waterlogged roots.
It's important to adjust your watering routine based on the time of year and specific environmental conditions like humidity and temperature.
